                       THE HEART
Blaise Pascal is one of the greatest philosopher in his time Blaise Pascal  philosophy is more on faith and reasons like The Heart by The Heart, Pascal meant what we know as opposed to what we know through deductive reasoning. Pascal not only recognized other ways of knowing besides reason, but he saw that man's reason is often influenced by other factors. Man could also find truth through his heart.

Blaise Pascal is a French mathematicianphysicist, religious philosopher, and master of prose. He was born on June19,1623 in Clermont-Ferrand and he died on 1662 He laid the foundation for the modern theory of probabilities, formulated what came to be known as Pascal’s principle of pressure, and propagated a religious doctrine that taught the experience of God through the heart rather than through reason. In philosophy he was an early pioneer in existentialism. Blaise Pascal`s greatest works
are Philosopy of Science,Theory of Knowledge,Reason and Sense and The Heart.
Although he never fully abandoned his scientific and mathematical interests, after his uncanny
Night of Fire the intense mystical illumination and midnight conversion that he experienced.

“The heart has its reasons, which reason doesn’t know.” Pascal means something transcending reason and prior to it. Pascal realized that there were more ways to find truth than through reason alone. Before reason can get started certain things must be presupposed. Pascal held that these first principles could be known with certainty through the intuition of the heart. If it is indeed instinctive, would presumably be inborn and thus either a part of our basic nature and something that all humans share or a special gift or grace bestowed by God. And if it is intuitive, then it possibly bears some relation to what Pascal elsewhere the subtle or intuitive component of intellect that somehow  sees or penetrates directly into truths logical or sequential intelligence, can arrive at only via incremental, deductive steps.

Today, many people are not concerned about finding rational truth. But, ironically, they are very concerned about their existential experience. Many people seek meaning in life; they also want their deepest desires to be satisfied. Therefore, the Pascalian apologetic methodology has great potential for contemporary society. For Pascal forces us to look at ourselves in the mirror. He calls us to seek God with all our being. Only in Jesus can death, our greatest enemy, be defeated. For Pascal knows that if we seek God with all our being, we will find Him. And if we find Him, we win eternity.
